Jeremy Freeman, AIA | Freeman Design Group

Jeremy’s interest in architecture started, as you might expect, playing with LEGO bricks when he was young. As his interest in drawing, sketching, and painting grew, he kept laser-focused on what he wanted to do through his education.

Jeremy has worked primarily in residential throughout his career. First, working in multifamily in D.C. for several years, then transitioned to custom single-family residential when working in Cincinnati. At this time, Jeremy fell in love with the unique aspect of every project and every client in the custom residential field. Getting to know the clients and how to craft a perfect house that fits the clients and their specific needs is a personal joy for Jeremy. With the vast amount of housing needed in California, his desire has expanded beyond just single-family homes and is getting back into the various options of multi-family in the Bay Area. Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids.

Jeremy holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas, Arlington.

Affiliations: American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Board.

Carle Hesse, AIA | Square Three Architecture Inc.

Carl Hesse founded square three architecture in 1990 in Palo Alto, working out of a spare bedroom. However, the foundation of square three was years in the making. As a kid growing up in a rural, east coast area, Carl was always interested in art, drawing, three dimensional objects, and building forts and treehouses. “I first learned about the profession of architecture during a class project in 6th grade social studies and that was when the connection was made,” he says, “I knew from that moment that I would be an architect someday and design homes.”
