In celebration of Earth Day, AIA Silicon Valley and AIA San Mateo are partnering to host a special screening of Women of Carbon, a powerful documentary spotlighting the pioneering women transforming the carbon fiber and composites industry. The film explores the environmental challenges and innovations shaping the future of sustainable materials in architecture, aerospace, and beyond.

The evening begins at 5:30 PM with networking and light snacks, followed by a prompt 6:00 PM screening (1-hour runtime). A group discussion and audience comments will follow.
