About: I grew up respecting my grandfather's work and work ethic as a builder. By the time I was 11 I knew I wanted to be an Architect. I studied architecture at Tulane University immersing myself in the rich culture that is so unique to New Orleans. After working in Key West FL a few years I moved to Santa Cruz CA. I worked for several Architects before opening my own practice in 1994. My job as an Architect is to create aesthetically pleasing solutions that meet the needs of my clients. I am detail oriented, solving problems in the planning phase so things run smoothly in the building phase. I believe architecture should always leave the world a better place than it was before. My favorite styles of architecture are Craftsman, International and Jugenstil. I hold the utmost admiration for the work of Otto Wagner, Adolf Loos, Gaudi, the brothers Greene, Rudolph Schindler and Le Corbusier.
